How does document management integrate with other features in Expesite?

Our document management is woven into various parts of our solutions. You are able to attach documents to our Tasking and Cost Tracking Solutions.

How is Expesite’s solution different than SharePoint?

SharePoint is great for managing a single project. However, many of our clients are managing several locations at one time and need consistency and collaboration in one solution. We provide a secure environment with guaranteed consistency across all projects.

How are my folder structures created?

Our solution engineers work with you to integrate your current processes into Expesite’s world. With that said if your current folder structure is not as efficient as you would like, we will provide you with a basic structure that you can customize. It is important your folder structure is easy to understand and navigate. The best part is that once you have your folder structure completed it will be consistent throughout all of your projects!

What is a common mistake made by clients using Project Documents?

Sometimes we see a hesitation from clients in giving access to vendors to upload deliverables into the system. This hinders collaboration and creates more work and wasted time for their project manager. Now this person will have to receive the files and then upload them into the system instead of the vendors uploading files directly.

With our role based securities you can limit what folders your vendors see. Additionally, you are able to define if they are able to read, update, upload, or download files. By setting the role based securities your vendors can directly upload files into Expesite and then easily notify the project manager and other team members the files are there.
